My stamping peeps who come to a class each month are “awesome”. We have all become good friends and every one of them has made giant leaps in their stamping artwork. Not so much because of me, but because we all fearlessly try new things.
Every month included with their orders there is a little surprise in their order bag…just to say “thanks” not only for ordering but for coming along on this stamping journey with me. It’s much more fun when you can share it with your friends and here is a close up of the one that hasn’t been posted yet..
Because I had given the Stuff ‘N Digits for this card previously (see early post with different colors) I thought I’d give you photo directions for making the pretty shape on the front of this card with the Scallop Topper Punch and the Oval Framelits.
Cut a piece of cardstock 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and pull through the punch like this…
Slide it right in until it stops and punch.
Here’s the result… Pay no attention to the fact I tore mine getting it out of the punch.
Now, here is how you place the Ovals Framelit… Pull that framelit down snug with the scallop tag outside the cutting edge and run through the Big Shot.
Here is the result…
Yessss! Now just cut a smaller oval for inside this piece and add your ribbon. Fun, right?
Hope you enjoyed the post today and feel inspired to jump right in and try this technique. You can do it!
Here’s your “B-ism” for today…
Hahaha…in my case it’s either glitter or Dazzling Diamonds. But, who cares?
Hope you are inky and HaPpY!
