Wrap It Up…

It may seem too early to you, but around here there is some Christmas present wrapping going on.  And this year Stampin’ Up! has so many new products to help “gussie up” your packages.

There’s wrapping paper this year…you can use the patterned side or the plain side to stamp on if you want.  There’s the Bigz Bow Die that is to “die for”…love this die!  Then the new Many Merry Stars kit that makes 26 star boxes that are so versatile.  They can be stacked on your mantle, strung together for a banner, glued to a wreath form to create a beautiful three-dimensional wreath, stacked horizontally to create star trees and even for package toppers instead of a bow.

Today I’d like to show you four different packaging ideas made from new SU! product.  Here’s the first package…

Here is one of the new patterns in the wrapping paper.  I decided to use the pattern and made a bow with the Bigz Bow Die out of the same paper.  The newspaper print star and the red stars are from Many Merry Stars Kit.  The tag is also in the kit stamped with the Merry Everything stamp set.

Here’s another packaging idea…

This is the Tag A Bag Gift Box.  I used white craft ink to stamp the polka dots on the plastic cover that just slips over the box base.  Inside are two of the tea lights made with the Wondrous Wreath Bundle (check Holiday or 3-D projects for tea lights)

Here is a package topped with a star box rather than a bow…

Now wouldn’t you like to give a package like that to someone?  The box underneath is the Extra Large Gift Box.  This box and the one above can be found on page 200 of the annual catalog.

One more thing…

Any of the star boxes in the Many Merry Stars Kit can be made into a gift box by using the Star Framelits to cut out an opening before you put it together.  Cut the next biggest star out of matching or contrasting paper and attach with a brad so it will swing open but when it’s closed, will cover the opening.  Slick, right?  I knew you’d like that one.

There are so many more ideas for gift wrapping, I just hope I can fit it all in before Christmas…stay tuned!

Hope you are inspired by something you’ve seen today.  I really appreciate your stopping by.

Here is you “B-ism” for today…
