My Version of the Snow Fairy…

So here is my version of the Snow Fairy which was inspired by Dawn Bourgette’s card at DawnsCreativeChalet.com.  This was the third project made in classes last weekend.  Actually this card goes together fairly (no pun intended) quickly and not one seemed to have a problem with it.

This card went to special households on my list that have little fairies dancing around.  I knew they would enjoy this card.

The Snow Fairy takes four of the Festive Flurry flakes stamped in Coastal Cabana ink and cut out with the matching framelit set…two small, one medium and one large.  We did not use the largest snowflake in the set.  We spread white shimmer over our snow flakes so the fairy was just all shimmery when finished.  Fold all but one of the small flakes in half and attach together (we used Tombo glue) largest to smallest.  Save one of the small flakes for the fairy hat.  All of our fairies had a different looking expression, but they were all adorable.  Finish off your snow fairy with some well-placed rhinestones on her hat and dress.  Is she cute or what?

The card base of Whisper White is folded to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″.  The Coastal Cabana layer is 5 1/4″ x 4″ and the last Whisper White layer is 5″ x 3 3/4″ embossed with the Northern Flurry EF.  The sentiment is from the set Christmas Messages in the Holiday Catalog.  We also embossed just the flap of the envelope for this card to coordinate.

Do you feel inspired to try this card?  I hope so.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…”Either you run the day, or the day runs you.”

I’m already inky…and happy about it!
