Tone On Tone…

It’s beginning to look a lot like “wedding season” around here.  And even though it’s spring time with all those pastel colors that come to mind, today’s wedding (or anniversary) card is a tone-on-tone neutral color palette with a quilting effect…

The heart “quilting” shows up well…

Glamour close up…

opposite angle…

and a peek inside.

It’s always nice if you know the bride’s choice of color for the wedding to add the color to their card, but neutrals are always elegant and a good choice if you aren’t sure.

Here’s the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

  • Paper:  Very Vanilla, Tip Top Taupe, Sahara Sand Cardstock
  • Ink:  Archival Basic Black and Craft White

  1. What a beautiful, unique design for a wedding card. It is totally out of the box for me, but works perfectly with your talent. I always appreciate your tips on how you make these wonderful cards. I’m sure your home will look like a picture postcard with all the newly planted flowers. All your effort will be appreciated by your neighbors and guests…and the Easter bunny!! Love the “b-ism” today. It goes along with your planting. So sweet!

    • Hey HJ…I have a friend who is an amazing quilter and she inspired this card. My flower beds, baskets and window boxes are look pretty spiffy. We do need rain though. Got any to spare?…B!
