Thinking of you…

There are times when family or friend is going through a really hard time and it’s just so hard to know what to do to help them.

This easel with the Sheltering Tree stamp turned out to be something a little better than a card or flowers in this case.  Here is the easel…

This easel and canvas were bought at Hobby Lobby.  I’ve used regular ink pads and a Aqua Painter to smooth some of the ink.  The sentiment was stamped with Memento Black.  I’ve done a little shading on the tree trunk and used the flower cluster stamp to add the pinks some of which are stamped off.

Flowers would fade and a card would eventually be put in a box or thrown out, but this little easel of art might sit out for a long time bringing back memories.

Hope you are enjoying a warm and cozy weekend with all this bad weather spread across the country.  I’m knee deep with Leadership preparations and looking forward to the warm weather in Orlando this week.  If you are going, I hope to see you there.  Be sure to say “hi”!

Here is your “B-ism” for today…

Sounds good to me…

I’m inky…and HaPpY!

  1. Billie, this is beautiful! I have a couple of these small canvases in my stash, so I may have to pull them out. Was is difficult to stamp on the canvas? Mine seems to have some give and the stretcher bars are preventing me from placing the canvas directly on a hard surface.

    • Cindi…I used acrylic blocks under the canvas when stamping…or anything else you might have that would fit while you get your stamping done. Hope that helps. Thanks for commenting!…B
