So, if you were tuned in yesterday, here is the gift that goes with the pop up dress birthday card. If you missed it, scroll down one page or click on the Birthday button to the left.
My friend, Bonnie has several friends who are going through some very difficult life situations, so these cards should come in handy. There are four cards with matching envelopes inside and each one is a different color combo. The card holder was made to match her birthday card.
Here’s the front of the folder…
and here are the cards inside…
Have you ever made a card folder before? It measures 7 1/2″ x 10″. On the 10″ side score at 1/8″ on either side of the center point which is the 5″ mark. On the 7 1/2″ side, score at 2″ for the fold up. Before you decorate the front, back and inside pocket fronts, add adhesive to the back of your 22″ ribbon and place on outside of folder. It all goes together fairly quick as long as you already have the idea for the cards inside. I give this gift often and it always seems to be appreciated.
Here are the supplies used on this project:
- Stamps: Morning Post Alphabet
- Paper: Very Vanilla cardstock, Modern Medley Designer Series Paper
- Ink: Black
- Tools: Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Apothecary Accents Framelits and Artisan Label Punch
- Embellishments: Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon
Here is your “B-ism” for today…”Even if you fall on your face, you are still moving forward.”
I’m trying to work on my Christmas cards in the middle of preparing for a big family Thanksgiving, so I’m moving forward with inky fingers…
