Thanksgiving Review…

It’s good to be back after a couple of days enjoying my family for Thanksgiving.  This was an especially special Thanksgiving for us as my daughter and son-in-love are moving overseas for three years…it will be some time before we are all together again.

We made the best of the time…most of us participated in a 5 or 3 mile “Turkey Trot” run on Thanksgiving morning.  Epic!  Then a quick trip to the local Krispy Kreme to reward ourselves before heading back to cook dinner. IMG_0148

The next day the boys went on a guided fly fishing expedition and the girls enjoyed  a leisurely morning coffee before some spa time and shopping.  Here’s the girls…

and here is the catch of the day by my oldest grandson, Gavin…

Spent some precious time in the studio with the “Littles” creating place cards for the Thanksgiving table and an ornament made for mom and dad.  Here we are at work..

So you can see our Thanksgiving was wonderful and I hope yours was too.

Tomorrow I have a luminary to show you so be sure to check back in. Here is your “B-ism” for today…

I’m back with the inky fingers today…and HaPpY!

  1. Hi Billie,
We do not have Thanksgiving in Australia, but I love seeing the family and festivities that you all share. Love it
On a separate note, I left you a message and some pics on your facebook page. Did you get it??? (I am not overly tech savvy sorry). They were pics of a project that I did that you inspired. ooxx

    • Thanks so much Ellouise…I will look for your message. I’m so flattered that you were inspired by one of my projects…B
