Hearts ‘n Flowers…

Did you catch the “live” video on the Rambling Rose Studio facebook page?  Today’s post uses the technique highlighted on the video.  You can still catch it on my facebook page looking under videos.  And while you are visiting I hope you’ll like my facebook page…I’m sooooo close to reaching my goal there!

Here’s a card I’m calling Hearts ‘N Flowers…

The background behind the heart is the technique shown on the video.

a close up…

Here is the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

  • Paper:  Thick Whisper White Cardstock, plus water color paper
  • Ink:  Archival Basic Black
  • Stamps:  Sealed With Love (sentiment)
  • Tools ‘N Embellishments:  Falling Petals Embossing Folder, Lace Doilies, Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies, Ken Oliver’s Color Burst and Heart Framelits (retired)

Digits

  • The Thick Whisper White base card is 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored, folded and burnished at 5-1/2″
  • The card front is 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Run through Big Shot with Falling Petals EF.
  • Cut a Lace Doily in half and attach at top of card front at an angle with multipurpose glue.
  • Cut heart shape from Thick Whisper White.  Using the Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies cut pattern in one half of heart shape.
  • The background behind the heart was created with water color paper and using the dry color pigment from Ken Oliver’s Color Burst and spritzing the paper with water.  See video on Rambling Rose Studio’s facebook page.  Cut half heart shape with same die used to create original heart and attach behind with multipurpose glue.
  • Add heart with background at an angle over the Lace Doily with dimensionals.

This card is beautiful in person…textural and sophisticated.

Our spring weather is back after a day of rain…so looking forward to planting all my flower containers and flower beds.  Hope your weather wherever you are in the world is improving too.  My Australian friends tell me it is too hot and in Canada my friends say it is too cold.  Soon we should all be just right!

Emerald Envy Special Reason…

There are always little pieces of “this ‘n that” on my working surface.  I’m pretty sure I’m going to use it and just can’t make myself put it away…out of sight, out of mind.

One morning I came into the studio to check water color pieces colored the night before and left to dry.  You just never know what you will find the next day.  Lying there was a Whisper White square with the negative space from Stylish Stems Framelits.  And also lying there was this piece of water color from the night before.  Picking up the square piece and laying it over the water color I knew this had to make a card front some how.

This is what I would call an “all occasion” card…you name it, it will work…

emerald4

isn’t that exquisite?  I can’t take a lot of credit for laying one piece of paper on top of another…but my goodness I do love this card.

Here’s the inside peek…

emerald2

This was cut from the same piece of water color paper.

A close up…

emerald1

So the moral to this story is sometimes a messy work surface gleans something beautiful!

emerald3

Remember on Friday I will have a “live” video on facebook to demonstrate this water coloring technique.  It will be announced on facebook as an event to all those who are signed up on my facebook page called Rambling Rose Studio…just sayin’.

Here’s the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

  • Paper:  This Whisper White, Emerald Envy Cardstock, plus Designer Series Color Pack and Water Color paper
  • Ink:  Emerald Envy
  • Stamps:  Gorgeous Grunge
  • Tools ‘N Embellishments:  Stylish Stems Framelits Dies, Emerald Envy Satin Ribbon, Linen Thread, Square Stitched Framelits, Square Scalloped Framelits and Ken Oliver’s Color Burst Dry Pigment (Amazon)

Digits

  • The Thick Whisper White base card is 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored, folded and burnished at 4-1/4″.  Stamp the Gorgeous Grunge “splat” on the right side of the card front with Emerald Envy several times.
  • The first Emerald Envy layer is 2-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ attached with SNAIL
  • The DSP layer is 2″ x 5-1/2″ attached over Emerald Envy layer with SNAIL
  • The two Emerald Envy Scalloped squares are  1-3/4″ and the Thick Whisper White Stitched Squares are the coordinating framelit.  Attach layers together and on the card front with SNAIL
  • The larger frame is 2-3/4″ square Emerald Envy scalloped square.  The water color piece and the Thick Whisper White piece are cut with the coordinating Stitched Square Framelit.  Using the large flower framelit from the Stylish Stems Dies, cut the Whisper White square, then layer over water colored square using multipurpose glue.  Now layer this piece over the Emerald Envy square using multipurpose glue.  Add to card front with dimensionals.
  • Cut a piece of Emerald Envy ribbon 11″ wrap around left side of card front and attach ends together and to card front with SNAIL.  Make several loops of Emerald Envy ribbon and tie center with Linen Thread.  Add to front of card with glue dots.
  • Inside the Emerald Envy layer is 3-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ with a Whisper White layer on top that is 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″.  Stamp once with Gorgeous Grunge “splat” in Emerald Envy.  Cut flower using the outline and the detailed flower framelit.  Add over splats with multipurpose glue.
  • When ready to use this card, I would add the sentiment inside….

So this week in addition to blogging each day, 22 baby shower invites were finished, 25 swaps for a stamping event this weekend, kits for a February class and gifts for team members are almost finished.  Whew!

We are having another 70 degree day and I’m off to the post office to mail the invites and enjoy the weather and ride with my top down…just because I can!

Here’s you “B-ism” for today…

Dragonfly Art…

Home again from visiting “the littles” and miss them already!  And the flight home was uneventful but late, of course!

Flying is just such an uncomfortable experience anymore.  Never have I seen seats that had straighter backs and absolutely no cushioning at all.  I’m 4’11” and it was a challenge for me to fold myself into that contraption they sell as a “seat”!  But arriving in one hour and nine minutes on a trip that takes 9 hours (if you’re lucky) to drive sends me to the airport every time…

My first day home and I couldn’t wait to get to my studio.  I had spent my down time drawing sketches of ideas in my planner.   Here’s one of them…

reddradonfly

and another angle…

reddragonfly2

So you can see the dimension of the frame and dragonfly.  The water color piece was a leftover from another project.  Generally I paint a whole piece of water color paper and save the scraps.  They do come in handy.

You might be able to see the “sparkle” on the dragonfly a little better in this shot…

reddragonfly1

You knew I had to get a little sparkly in there.

Here’s the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

  • Paper:  Thick Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black Cardstock, Vellum and water color paper
  • Ink:  Real Red and Archival Basic Black
  • Stamps:  Dragonfly Dreams and Gorgeous Grunge (splat)
  • Tools ‘N Embellishments:  Scalloped Square Framelits Dies, Stitched Framelits Dies, Dragonfly Thinlits, Gently Falling Embossing Folder

Digits

  • The Thick Whisper White base card is 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored, folded and burnished at 5-1/2″
  • The Real Red layer is 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ attached to card front with multipurpose glue.
  • The Thick Whisper White layer is 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Stamp sentiment at lower left in Archival Basic Black.  Stamp Real Red splats so that they will show after frame is put in place.  Run through Big Shot with Gently Falling EF.  Attach to card front with multipurpose glue.
  • Cut the Basic Black Scalloped frame that measures 3″ x 3″.  The Whisper White frame is a little over 2-1/2″.  Use a smaller square framelit to cut out the center of the Whisper White piece.  You could use anything for the background of the frame…even DSP or stamp a small collage would be nice too.  I just happened to have this piece of water color paper painted.  Glue these three pieces together and place at top right corner of card front with multipurpose glue.
  • The detailed dragonfly was cut from the Valentine Paper Stack and the top layer of dragonfly was stamped with Archival Basic Black on cardstock Vellum and cut with framelit.  Run a bead of multipurpose glue down the center of the DSP dragonfly and place the vellum dragonfly on top.   The wings were painted with Clear Wink of Stella and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds. (I had to do it!)  Add a strip of adhesive on the bottom and place on card front.  You can bend the wings a little to give more dimension.
  • Inside there is a piece of Real Red 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ with a piece of Whisper White 3-1/8″ x 4-1/8″.  I stamped the corresponding sentiment in Basic Black, add a splat of Real Red at the bottom and ran just the bottom inch or so through the Gently Falling EF.
  • You can see the envelope was treated to the Gently Falling EF too to correspond to the card front.

So I’m looking forward to getting back into my grove this week.  Hope you’ll stop back by…

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

Walking in the Rain…

Several people has posts the idea of masking in the Beautiful You stamps with the Mediterranean Moments stamps and I was just itching to try it.  It’s really hard sometimes when you have so much new product on hand to create all that you want to.

But I finally got to give this technique and try and if you have been reading this blog long, you must know “masking” is my very favorite stamping technique…it’s magic!

So here’s my Beautiful You girl walking in the rain right into the Mediterranean Moment…

bonjour

and it’s raining inside too…

bonjour1

and a little different angle…

bonjour2

Of course, the water color pencils in SU! colors makes this even more fun.

Here’s the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

  • Paper:  Very Vanilla Cardstock and Water Color Paper plus Carried Away Designer Series Paper
  • Ink:  Pool Party, Archival Basic Black
  • Stamps:  Beautiful You, Gorgeous Grunge (splat) and Mediterranean Moment
  • Tools ‘N Embellishments:  Linen Thread, Very Vanilla Seam Binding (retired), SU! Water Color Pencils, small round brush or Blender Pen

Digits

  • The Very Vanilla base card is 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored, folded and burnished at 4-1/4″
  • The DSP layer is 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ attached to card front with SNAIL.
  • The water color paper layer is 3-3/4″ x 5″.
  • Stamp umbrella girl in Archival Basic Black Ink on water color paper.  Stamp her again on a post it note and “fussy cut”.  Place the cut out over your stamped image on the water color paper.
  • Now with the mask in place, stamp the Mediterranean Moment scene right over the post it note mask in Archival Basic Black.  Remove the mask…MAGIC!  She’s right there on the street isn’t she?  Isn’t that just fun!
  • Try to color the background in lightly with Water Color Pencils and the girl with brighter colors so she can be the focal point.  Use your brush with water or a Blender Pen and go over all your pencil colors.  With the Gorgeous Grunge (splat) stamp, add rain with Pool Party ink.
  • Add water color paper over DSP with multipurpose glue.
  • Attach a band of ribbon along the left side.  Make a bow with several loops and tie in center with Linen Thread.  Attach bow over band with glue dots.
  • Inside the DSP layer is 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ with a Very Vanilla layer on top 4-1/8″ x 3-1/8″.  Stamp “rain” on the Very Vanilla layer.
  • You can see in the photos the envelope flap was covered with the same DSP to coordinate with the card front.

We had class here today at Rambling Rose Studios.  I just love my peeps and they are also so appreciative of the work it takes to come up with new ideas and put kits together for them.

So I will be flying out tonight to go keep “the littles” until Friday, but there will be a new post for you each day.  I’ve been working really hard this week to cover my time away.  I’ll be checking each day to see how you like the projects.  Leave me a comment!

2017 May – Calendar…

By the time the month of May rolls around next year, we will all feel like kicking up our heels…

To highlight that spring feeling, the new stamp set Beautiful You was my choice.  This is certainly a unique stamp set for SU! and I’m loving it!

5calendar

Doesn’t she look happy?

Here’s the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

  • Paper:  Source for preprinted calendar page is Papersource.com.  The quality of the paper works well with ink, stamp, water color and brushes.
  • Ink:  Archival Basic Black (it’s water proof)
  • Stamps:  Beautiful You and High Tide (water puddle)
  • Tools ‘N Embellishments:  SU! Water Color Pencils, Aqua Painter, Blender Pen or small round brush with water

Digits:

  • Stamp girl in Archival Basic Black.
  • Stamp water image from High Tide stamp set at her feet.
  • Stamp sentiments.
  • Using the new SU! Water Color Pencils, color image.  I used Calypso Coral (lightly) for her skin.  Daffodil Delight and Early Espresso for her hat.  Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Pacific Point for her dress.  And Baja Breeze for the water.  Some of the Melon Mambo was scribbled in the water to insinuate a reflection.

So many ideas for this set are waiting in line to be made.  I’ve just run out of time before traveling for Christmas.  My sketch book will be full by the time I return, so look for many more examples from this set coming soon.

Yesterday Sweetums and I traveled to Nashville to visit with “the biggles”.  It kills me I didn’t get a picture of Gavin (he’s really a good looking kid), but he was on a “short leash” and expected to be at work.  I did however, steal a quick one with Kendall (she’s having a baby in March!)…

Hope you will follow along as I post the remaining months to end the year…

Smile Alert!…

A whole set of Whisper White note cards were transformed into adorable, silly thank you notes…which will come in handy after Christmas and even before.  They will spread smiles near and far when opened, and my job will be done.

Here’s what they look like…

28

Would they put a smile on your face?  While water coloring each chickie, I couldn’t help but keep a smile on my face…and I water colored 20 of them!

Here are the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

  • Paper:  3-1/2″ x 5″ Whisper White Note Cards, Real Red Cardstock plus Water Color Paper
  • Ink:  Archival Basic Black
  • Stamps:  Hello Chick …background chicken wire stamp is retired SU! but you could substitute the current Woodgrain background stamp.
  • Tool’s ‘N Embellishments:  Water Color Pencils, 1/8″ Real Red Ribbon, Punch or Framelit shape to cut out sentiment, Stitched Square Framelits, and Scalloped Square Framelits.  I used the Ticket Punch here.  You could use an Aqua Painter, Blender Pen or small round brush for painting.

Digits

  • The 3-1/2″ x 5″ Whisper White Note Card front was stamped with chicken wire background stamp in Archival Basic Black.
  • The Real Red Cardstock was cut with the Scalloped Square Framelit and attached to card front with dimensionals.
  • The Water Color Paper was cut with the Stitched Square Framelits.  Stamp image with Archival Basic Black.  Color images with Water Color Pencils and use your choice to paint with water.  Scribble some color around feet and paint.  This “grounds” your image.  Colors I used are Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Real Re.
  • Attach Water Color Paper to Real Red Cardstock with multipurpose glue.
  • Stamp off before stamping background on scrap Whisper White CS with Archival Basic Black.  Stamp sentiment over this background and cut with shape of your choice.  Add to card front with multipurpose glue.  Make a small bow and attach at bottom corner with glue dot.

Tomorrow there will be several of these in mailboxes written with sincere thanks and hoping to bring smiles wherever they go!

We are having a frigid day here but when I see the weather up north and in the Midwest, I’ll not complain.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

decisions, decisions.

Have a HaPpY inky day!

B

Hey Chick…

Now SU! has never asked me…but I’d love to design a stamp set.  If that ever happens, it will bring a smile to your face just like the one today makes me smile every time I see it…

27

Now seriously…you smiled didn’t you?  Here’s a peek inside…

26

This one kills me!  And this set is FREE…yippee!

I can think of a whole bunch of sentiments to go with these gals.  I’ll give you one, “Do these feather’s make my butt look big?”  I could fill up a container with them if they’d let me.  What would you have them say?  Maybe we’ll collect them and send them in…you never know!

Here’s the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

  • Paper:  Sahara Sand, Real Red, Thick Whisper White (I never use the original Whisper White) Cardstock
  • Ink:  Archival Basic Black and Water Color Pencils
  • Stamps:  Hello Chick
  • Tools ‘N Embellishments:  The Chicken Wire background is an old retired SU!, Scalloped Square Framelits, Ticket Punch, Real Red Baker’s Twine, Linen Thread and Aqua Painter or small round brush

Digits

  • The Sahara Sand base card is 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored, folded and burnished at 5-1/2″
  • Use the plain square framelit that measures 1-1/4″ or the punch for the three openings on the card front.  You can lightly draw the squares in pencil if that helps space them evenly before cutting or punching.
  • If you don’t have the Chicken Wire (I’ve been using SU! products since the late 90s) try the Woodgrain background stamp and what ever appeals to you.  Mine background is stamped in Archival Basic Black.
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White CS 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″.  Lay behind the card front and lightly trace squares for stamping chicks.  Stamp alternating positions in Archival Basic Black.
  • Now the fun is using the new Water Color Pencils.  Here are the colors I used:  Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Soft Sky.  I used the small Aqua Painter (I normally use a small round brush) and it worked great.  A Blender Pen works too!
  • Once the chicks are dry, attach the Whisper White layer behind the card front with SNAIL.
  • Cut three frames in Real Red using the Scalloped Squares Framelits and attach with multipurpose glue.
  • Stamp off your background stamp using Basic Black before stamping on scrap Whisper White.  Punch with Ticket Punch or whatever shape you have.  Attach with dimensionals.
  • Loop several Real Red Bakers Twine and tie in center with Linen Thread.  Attach with glue dot on sentiment punch.
  • Inside cut a larger Real Red Scalloped Square and add a smaller layer of Whisper White cut with Scalloped Framelit Squre.
  • Stamp a chick in the bottom right corner…she’s photo bombing!  Color with Water Color Pencils.  Attach to Real Red square with SNAIL and to inside of card with SNAIL.

These feathered divas will see lots of ink in the future…

Hope you are having an awesome day and will plan to stop by tomorrow to see the notecard set made with these girls.

All Occasion Dragonflies…

This will be my third post with the new Dragonfly Dreams Bundle.  Honestly, there are so many more ideas for this bundle in my head I think I could do a couple of weeks without repeating myself.

But you want to see more new products from the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration, right?

Alrighty then, this will be the last of the dragonfly series for now…but be prepared for more!

dragonfly2

and inside looks like…

dragonfly3

This card is a good example of how squirrely my mind gets while working on a card idea.  The truth is this piece of really pretty water color paper was lying on one of the table tops and it just kept calling to me.  When the idea came to do a flock (is it a flock?) of dragonflies in these gorgeous colors, my mind immediately jumped to building a background for them to fly on.  And then what sentiment and what about some glamour?

So here are the Stuff ‘N Digits to explain the process…

Stuff

  • Paper:  Thick Whisper White and Emerald Envy Cardstock, plus water color paper.
  • Ink:  Emerald Envy, Archival Basic Black, Soft Sky
  • Stamps:  Dragonfly Dreams, Gorgeous Grunge (splats) and By The Tide (script)
  • Tools ‘N Embellishments:  Baker’s Twine Trio Pack Gold Cording, Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits, Seasonal Decorative Masks, Ken Oliver’s Color Burst or SU! Reinker

Digits

  • The Thick Whisper White base card is 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored, folded and burnished at 5-1/2″
  • The Emerald Envy layer is 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8
  • Spritz a piece of water color paper with water and spray Color Burst color pigment in your color choice and let the paper do the work for you.  If you don’t have the dry pigment, add drops of reinker in your color choice on the spritzed water color paper.  Let dry.  You can use Heat Gun.
  • The top Thick Whisper White layer is 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Stamp Gorgeous Grunge splats in Emerald Envy diagonally from bottom right corner twice.  Add a light layer of Soft Sky using Seasonal Decorative Mask and sponge to the background center right.  Add script from By The Tide in Archival Basic Black about 2/3 way up from bottom right side.  Add sentiment in Archival Basic Black to lower left side.  Attach this layer to the Emerald Envy layer with SNAIL.
  • Attach the gold cording around the top of these two layers with SNAIL.  Make a bow with several loops from gold cording and tie in center.  Attach to top center with glue dots.  Add to card front.
  • Cut the dragonflies from your water color paper and attach with small dots of multipurpose glue.
  • Inside the Emerald Envy layer is 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ and the Whisper White layer is 4-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ attached with SNAIL.  A little bit of masking and sponging with Soft Sky and some Gorgeous Grunge splats in Emerald Envy at the bottom right will coordinate with the card front.  You could also add this to the envelope!

Building a multi-layered background for your stamping is a great way to create interest.  If you’ve never tried it, give it a go and see what you think.

Realizing there were daily complaints about the drought in our area, I am inclined not to mention we have gotten multiple inches of rain in the last week and things are floating away.  Just sayin’…

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Hope to see you here again tomorrow…

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

does that mean you eventually grow up?

Dragonfly Dreams…

Believe it or not there are several birthdays on my calendar for this month and next…yikes!  You would think there would be stacks of cards around here wouldn’t you?  Nope…

So clear the table tops, lay aside all the Christmas stamps and DSP and make room for one of the new stamps sets for a January release…

dragpmfy3

And a peek inside…

dragonfly4

There is a suggestion of movement in each layer…that will wake you up.

Here is the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

  • Paper:  Emerald Envy and Thick Whisper White Cardstock, plus water color paper and Vellum Cardstock
  • Ink:  Archival Basic Black, Emerald Envy and Soft Sky
  • Stamps:  Dragon Dreams
  • Tools ‘N Embellishments:  Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits, Gold Cording (Holiday Catalog), Clear Wink of Stella, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Masking Tape (low tack) and Ken Oliver’s Color Burst (Amazon)

Digits

  • The Thick Whisper White base card is 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored, folded and burnished at 5-1/2″
  • The Emerald Envy layer is 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ attached with SNAIL
  • The water color paper is 4″ x 5-1/4″.  Mask the shape with low tack tape (or remove some of the stickiness by bouncing the tape on your yoga pants…you know you have them on)  Spritz the card front with water and spray the colors you want to use. Here I used green, purple and yellow.  It just takes a small amount.  If the colors are not combining or you want a different effect, spray lightly with water again.
  • Now if you didn’t press your tape down securely all the way around or paint moves when you remove the tape, you may get the effect on my card.  I love the look, but if you want clean lines, just be sure to secure your tape edges.  Either way…it will be awesome!
  • Stamp your sentiment in Archival Basic Black at bottom left.
  • The Gold Cord was attached with a blob of multipurpose glue on the card front and laying down the cording in loops until I liked the way it looked.
  • To make the dragon fly layer on water color paper underneath the vellum layer, I had a piece of water color paper I colored when doing the masked shape.  Once dry, stamp the image in Archival Basic Black and cut with matching thinlit.  Attach to card front with dots of multipurpose glue.  Add Clear Wink of Stella to wings and dust with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
  • Cut details dragon fly from Cardstock Vellum.  Paint wings with Clear Wink of Stella and dust with Dazzling Diamonds.  Attach over water colored dragon fly by adding a thin line of multipurpose glue to center of body.
  • Inside the Emerald Envy layer is 4-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ attached with SNAIL
  • The Thick Whisper White layer is 4-1/8″ x 3-1/8″.  The wings color is Soft Sky with Emerald Envy around the edges (Rock ‘n Roll method) then the detail stamps over the wings in Archival Basic Black.

Are you multi-tasking all over the place getting ready for the holidays and still trying to keep up with your regular schedule and commitments?  The result seems to be light sleep and frayed nerves…I see it everywhere!

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

Bonjour Beautiful…

Those water color pencils were calling my name again today…in addition to a new stamp set that will be introduced in the Occasions Catalog in January…

bonjour

This stamp set was designed by a fellow demonstrator and the whole set is stunning.  Each stamp is so well designed and gives you a detailed European/Mediterranean scene.  You could create a set of note cards with different scenes (which is what I plan to do).

Here’s the Stuff ‘N Digits on this card…

Stuff

  • Paper:  3-1/2″ x 5″ Whisper White Notecard, Melon Mambo and Basic Black Cardstock, plus water color paper.
  • Ink:  Archival Basic Black (important when you are using water)
  • Stamps:  Mediterranean Moments and Happy Happenings (sentiment)
  • Tools ‘N Embellishments:  SU! Watercolor Pencils, Sticky Strips, Small Round Paint Brush

Digits

  • To the front of a 3-1/2″ x 5″ Whisper White notecard, add a layer of Melon Mambo 3-3/8″ x 4-7/8″ with SNAIL
  • The Basic Black layer is 3-1/8″ x 4-5/8″ attached to the Melon Mambo layer with Sticky Strips
  • The Water color layer is 3″ x 4-1/2″.  Stamp image and sentiment in Archival Basic Black.  Use SU! Water Color Pencils to color and then go over each color with small round paint brush and water.  Let dry then add to Basic Black layer with multipurpose glue.

This seemed to be a good card to end the week with.  One more week of Market creations to finish so I will be busy this week in addition to a class on Monday and of course, Thanksgiving this week too!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you are having an awesome weekend!

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…
