Box It In Stars…

There’s a new kit from Stampin’ Up! just in time to box up those special gifts for the holidays or decorate you tree and home.  It’s called Many Merry Stars (#138104, $25.95) and I’ve never seen a kit like this in my years at SU!

This kits makes 26 stars!…in six different sizes from 2″ to 15″.  The boxes make great stand alone decorations or tree ornaments, but my favorite is a gift topper rather than a bow.  It’s just so stinkin’ cute.  For lots and lots of ideas check the Stampin’ Up! Pinterest site at  Get ready for your socks to blow off.  Here’s a video to give you an even better idea about star boxes and how to make them.  Everything and I mean everything is included in the kit with supplies left over.  Enjoy!

Isn’t that fun?  This Many Merry Stars kit is on my counter and in the process of being created.  Look at all this stuff…

Hope you have been inspired by something on my blog today.  If you’d like to have this kit delivered to your door, just click on the “Order” button and ZIP it’s on its way.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…”If you leave a trail of glitter, you will never be forgotten!”

No problem here…I not only leave a trail but carry a cloud of glitter around me like the Peanuts character with the dust cloud.  It’s a great life!

Get inky…be HaPpY!

Bright & Beautiful Stars…

Inspired by a sample in the Holiday Catalog, this card came together easily.  But now I have several ideas to build cards from this one.

This card doesn’t have the red rhinestones on the front like the sample only because I didn’t remember to place them until after the photo had been taken.  This card is striking in person with the gold foil and pewter embossing.  Here are the Stuff ‘N Digits for you if you feel inspired to give this card a try…

Paper:  Very Vanilla cardstock, Typeset DSP, Gold Foil 12 x 12

Ink:  Memento Black, VersaMark and Cherry Cobbler

Stamps:  Bright & Beautiful

Tools ‘N Embellishments:  Stars Framelits, Pewter Embossing Powder, Gold Embossing Powder, Cherry Cobbler 1″ Sheer Ribbon and Rhinestones.

The Very Vanilla base card is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″

The first DSP layer is 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″

the second DSP layer is 4″ x 5 1/4″. Use Gorgeous Grunge splatter stamp and Memento Black ink on this layer

The gold Foil was stamped with VersaMark ink and covered with Pewter Embossing Powder and heat.  The Very Vanilla star is stamped with VersaMark and covered with Gold Embossing Powder and heated.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today.  Hope you have found it inspiring and you can’t wait to get started on a creation of your own.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…”Life is too short to worry what others think about you.  So have fun and live it up…give them something to talk about!”

I’ll be inky this time tomorrow and I’ll be so HappY!
