Can you think of anything better than taking someone a daisy bouquet that will never die? Me either!
So today I’m posting just that…
How sweet is that?
I used this arrangement today at my New Catalog Open House and added Baby’s Breath to fill it in. I should have taken another pic for you, but I’m so tired right now, I can’t move.
Suffice it to say as cute as it looks here the Baby’s Breath did add to the overall look.
This little pail (which I got at Ikea) is about 5″ across and it took 15 daisies to make it look this full. I made three taller ones, five medium and seven short ones.
There are three different colored flowers:
- White with Daffodil Delight sponging
- Pink Powder cardstock with Fresh Fig sponging
- Pink Powder cardstock with Berry Burst stamping and sponging.
All have Daffodil Delight cardstock 1/2″ circle punched and stamped with detailed center stamp.
I curled one petals under on one layer and left the top layer flat. Hot glued together alternating petals.
There is a Styrofoam ball cut in half hot glued inside the pail to hold the arrangement. The top of the ball was covered in hot glue and shredded paper added on top.
Florist wire was twisted in a circle and bent flat. The flowers were hot glued to this flat area.
The pail was decorated with Berry Burst 3/8″ Ribbon and a half flower (all hot glued) and the label was made with the Pretty Label Punch and stamp set.
This whole thing took me about 30 minutes to put together. I think I’m going to keep it for a while on my desk. It just makes me happy to look at it.
Hope you are having a great day and plan to stop back by tomorrow.
Here’s your “B-ism” for today…
today is one.
Come get inky with me…be HaPpY!
