Oh! It’s getting down to the “nitty gritty” now. Hopefully all your shopping for Christmas is done and you are ready to wrap it up …literally.
Here are a couple of gift tags we made in class this week. I tried to offer projects for items they might need right now. We made tags, a pretty gift bag and a thank you card with an interesting technique. We are always trying out new techniques.
Here are a couple of the tags…
It’s amazing how much work you can put into a tag…but these are cute and pretty simple. SU! makes it so simple to make your Christmas gifts look fantastic from the craft boxes, Bigz Bow Die, wrapping paper and so many gift tags. I love my job! I know you hear me say that all the time…but it’s true!
Both of these tags were cut a smidge less than 2″ wide by 4 1/2″ and punched with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.. The White layer on the tree tag was cut 1 3/4″ x 3 3/4, punched with the tree punch and set on dimensionals to attach. Use the punched out tree to stamp the “to/from” and attached with adhesive. Add the punched Silver Glimmer star and piece at the bottom
The Santa tag starts out the same way with the Real Red layer. Add the 1 1/4″ Whisper White layer with adhesive and punch with Tag Topper Punch. The “buttons” in black are punched with Itty Bitty flower. The black belt is a 1/4″ x not quite 2″ with the Silver Glimmer Itty Bitty label punch glued (Tomboy) at center. The little square was cut from the belt piece and glued on top. Makes a cute belt, right?
I could make tags forever. They are quick and add so much to the thoughtfulness of your gift. I’m sure there are those that have shopped, wrapped, tagged and have everything under the tree…but that’s NOT me. I’m still in a dither…
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you ordered your preorder from the Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration today. Got mine in early. This is an exciting time for SU! I can’t wait to get my hands on all my new product. Oh! you’re not a demo? Drop me a comment or email and I’ll give you the “skinny” on being one. It’s a “no brainer”!
Here’s your “B-ism” for today…
This is so true. At the beginning of 2014 I picked the word “kindness” to guide me through my year. It has lead me in some fascinating directions. Still considering what my word for 2015 will be. Want to join me? What word would you choose?
I’m REALLY inky today…and REALLY HaPpY!
