Studio Christmas…

Today was the day I celebrated Christmas with my peeps.  Many of them have been stamping buds for years and we’ve all grown in our artist abilities over that time.  Some are newbies but we all pull them right in to celebrate the art of paper and all the delightful things made with it.

Here’s the group working hard on desk calendars in the studio before our “lunch” break (do sweet things count as lunch?  Wait!  We had Chicken Salad Sandwiches)…

And a couple of individual shots…

Ahhh…it’s those tiny details…

Everyone got the new catalog…

Lunch break…see there were even veggies!

Cute toppers on this one…

Patty Hickman made these note holders for everyone.

And Carol Mitchell created these festive hot pads for all.

We have all learned so much from each other over time freely sharing our talents with each other.  Barbara Philpott (who I met at a regional SU! function here in town five years ago) gave me this shadow box with snowflake lights…

It measures 8″ x 8″.  Gorgeous!

And these cards were found after everyone had left…

Naturally I couldn’t get the sparkle from the landscape “snow” to show…

Pretty stenciling in Emerald Envy paired with metallic silver…

Welcoming Christmas door with textured background.

It is true that if you teach a class, you learn so much because you have to grow and show new and interesting pieces each class.  I’ve been teaching classes for almost nine years so you’d think all has been learned by now.  Paper art is ever evolving and offers new products and techniques all the time.  You have to be willing to grown and change and just enjoy the ride!

Hope your Monday as been as bright and fun as mine has been…

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

Come get inky with me…Be HaPpY!
