Stampin’ in Nashville…

Last week I mentioned that I would be traveling to Nashville Friday to attend an InkBig Academy event with Lisa Pretto…what a great day it was!

First to see lots of stampers I’ve met at different events over the years and to spend quality time with Jeanne Moss who I met at a Leadership gathering four years or so ago.  Jeanne also brought Ann Burnham with her, a fairly new recruit who seemed delighted with the event too.

Lisa does an amazing job sharing information that can drive your stamping business to a new level using your loves and strong points.  I came home with pages of notes and ideas.  This was my second InkBig Academy event (Tucson, Arizona was my first three years ago) and I feel it was time and money well spent.  No…Lisa didn’t pay me to say anything (I doubt she reads my blog).

Since I got home last night late and the day yesterday was chocked full, I thought I’d drop in today (I don’t normally post on Sunday) and share with you some of the treats, goodies and Make ‘N Takes which were fabulous!

Here are three of the “goodies”, plus our water bottles were decorated and I even won a door prize which is the DSP you color and doilies!  If you have ever hosted an event, you know how much work goes into these pieces.  There was a beautiful and delicious Vanilla/Butter Cream cupcake in the “You’re Sweet” holder.

Here are three Make ‘N Takes using the Cool Treats Stamp Set and Frozen Treats Framelits…

Love this color combination!

I loved the framelit that gave the cone texture…clever layout too!

Those “sprinkles” are just too cute.

All of these cards are non-gender specific and really could work for any age group too.  In my book that makes a “winner” stamp set that can be used over and over in so many ways.

Hope you enjoyed seeing these samples.  I have three more Make ‘N Takes to share plus some of my card swaps that I know you will enjoy…

Have a great Super Bowl Sunday…we are giving a dinner for some friends so I’ll have to watch at least half of the game.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

hahaha!  no i’m not (either one!)

But I will be inky and HaPpY!

  1. Cute projects! Glad your stampin time with friends was fun.
Did i miss your facebook video with your color bursts powders? Can’t find it on fb

    • Ester…check on my personal timeline as it is still running last time I looked. Search my name (Billie Moan). Let me know if you find it…B!

  2. Rose, I was there also and how I wish we could have met. It was a wonderful day and lisa is awesome. I’ve followed your blog for quite some time and absolutely love your creativity and ideas. Thank you for sharing.
    Have a great evening
    Judy n

    • You were at the event in Nashville? I can’t believe we didn’t cross paths. That was my second event where Lisa presented and I’ve enjoyed both. She gives great info you can put to use right away no matter what level you may be at when you hear it. So sorry we missed each other. I’m going to have to look for your swap card…B!

  3. Billie I just realized I used Rose…oops. And, you live in Chattanooga just a couple of hours from me. I’m in Mt. Juliet, just outside Nashville. Small world isn’t it.

    • OH my goodness, Judy. We will have to keep that in mind and maybe make a date to meet half way somewhere and share a cuppa and maybe stamp a bit…B!

    • I’m already looking forward to our hubbies meeting and sharing the fun in Savannah in April. Got your swaps yet?…B!

  4. I was pleasantly surprised to see you had posted on Sunday. What great cards and projects. I’m sure you had a terrific time in Nashville. What’s better than crafting with others who are into it as much as you?? I love the ice cream cards for their bright colors and versatility. Cute “b-ism” too. Hope your dinner party was fun. Have a great day!

    • Well, HJ, Nashville was fun and inspiring and I always love learning something new. I felt so guilty missing my post on Saturday…not enough hours in a day! Wasn’t that a great Super Bowl? Really wasn’t pulling for one team or the other…B!

  5. Billie,
It was so wonderful meeting you and spending time getting to know you!! I look forward to enjoying your blog posts and learning more techniques from you!!

    • It was a great time in Nashville wasn’t it? You and Jeanne are going to have some great times together. Hope you think about Salt Lake City…B!
