So Many Thank Yous….

So if you read this blog this past couple of days you know this was a BIG weekend at my house.  My birthday was Friday and plans are to celebrate for at least another week!  Yesterday was my 50th high school reunion and I hosted a brunch for all the girls.  It turned out so nice.  But nothing like that comes off so well without lots of help…so I’ve made these thank you cards today to send to all those who helped made this weekend so successful…

Does this give you a hint?  Justin K. will be so proud of me using his feathers.  Here is the card…

My photography  skills are limited so the pewter embossing on the sentiment and the one feather doesn’t show well.  In person it’s quite shiny.  Here’s how this card was made…

Paper:  SU! Notecards for the base, Bermuda Bay, Crisp Cantaloupe, Vellum and Whisper White cardstock.

Ink:  VersMark, Tangelo Twist and Bermuda Bay

Stamps:  Four Feathers, Gorgeous Grunge and Photopolymer Thank You (sentiment)

Tools ‘N Embellishments:  Stencil from Banner Kit for background, Pewter Embossing Powder and Linen Thread

The notecard measures 3 1/2″ x 5″

The Bermuda Bay layer is 3 3/8″ x 4 7/8″

The Whisper White layer is 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″

Sponge the background with Cantaloupe Crisp using the Banner Kit Background stencil

Use the two stamps from Gorgeous Grunge for the splats in Bermuda Bay and the sprinkles in Tangelo Twist

Stamp the sentiment in VersaMark and add Pewter EP then heat

Stamp feathers on Crisp Cantaloupe CS in Tangelo Twist ink, on Whisper White in Bermuda Bay ink and in on Vellum CS in VersaMark coat with Pewter EP and heat.

Use Four Feathers Framelits to cut out feathers and add with glue dots

Make bow with Linen Thread and add with glue dots.

Hope you like these little thank you notes and you feel inspired to create your own.  If you don’t have this stamp/framelit set…it is a must have.  I’ll be posting another project with them tomorrow so be sure to stop by.

Here is your “B-ism” for today…”So many ideas…so little time.”

Got a class tomorrow to prepare for so I’m inky…but HaPpY!
