Savannah OnStage Swap…

We made it!  Sweetums and I got here Thursday night and spent all day Friday touring around the magical city…it is gorgeous.  Not to mention the weather is pretty awesome too.  Don’t come in August, but now is great!

Today’s post is the swap card made for The SU! Savannah OnStage Event…I got 50 made and had to be satisfied with that…

It all started like this…50 water colored butterflies.  But look who helped me…

Yep,  Sweetums guarded by Zoe worked with me to get these swaps finished.  How sweet is that?

Here’s the final edition…

Of course none of the butterflies are the same because I painted pages of water color paper…

A glamour shot…

Hopefully next week I can get photos made of the swaps I receive and share them with you here…It’s always so much fun to see what everyone chooses to make.

Hope you enjoyed this card today.  I’ll be back with you on Monday and share more projects and ideas with you.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

Stay inky…Be HaPpY!

  1. Billie, this completed card is definitely a WOW! I had wondered how you would finish it when you showed us the background earlier this week. I knew it would be stunning and I was not disappointed. I’m so glad you had a good helper that comes with his own guard dog. Too sweet!! I will look forward to seeing the swaps you received. Take care and safe travels home.

    • End of the day and I’m totally exhausted, but HaPpY! We will be on our way home tomorrow early. Sweetums enjoyed a day of golf today…B!

    • So, I should start saving my pennies for the new, exciting catalog items coming out, right? But the retiring list comes out on Monday. It never stops!! I need a money tree in the backyard to feed my stamping habit. Can’t wait to see some sneak peeks. Glad to hear Sweetums got in some golf in nice weather. Be safe.

    • You should definitely look for that Money Tree! Did you watch OnStage online? I’m not sure when it was up, but I’m pretty sure you can still view it. The demonstrations were awesome. Loved Savannah…been a long time since we’d been there. Brought home $60 worth of pralines and such to share with my peeps at class tomorrow…B!

  2. This are beautiful. Can you share a picture of what your watercolor paper looked like before you die cut the butterflies? Can’t wait to see some of your swap cards and hope you had a great time.

    • We’ve had an amazing weekend in Savannah…what a magical city this is. OnStage was inspirational and exciting. Just the kick in the butt we all need every once in a while. Seriously, I don’t have a pic of the water color paper before it was cut…sorry!…B!

  3. Did you use stampin’ up colors for your butterflies? They are so pretty! I love the sets you used. Your husband is so sweet to help you! I’m glad you both got to have fun!

    • Actually I used the Color Burst pigments to color water color paper and spritzed them to get the combinations. Made for extra work and drying time, but was pleased with the result. Yes…my hubby is a keeper!…B!
