Salt Lake City…

There are no words to describe sleeping in your own bed…just sayin’

But the six-day trip to Salt Lake City for Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage Live was so inspirational, informative and down right fun that all the sleep deprivation and exhaustion are so worth it.

There are so many things I want to share with you, but photos need to be taken of swaps (they are unbelievable) and also photos set up for the projects presented.  I think they will start being posted tomorrow if things go well this afternoon.  So stay tuned for that.

I do have some photos of my presentation and a short video given to me by a friend in the audience (thanks Jeanne!) to share today.

Please don’t feel I’m self promoting.  It was an awesome and humbling experience to be a presenter this year.  So I hope you won’t mind if I share that with you…

After this presentation Stampin’ Up! gave everyone at the event the stamp set from this presentation.  How much fun is that?

I think tomorrow the ban is lifted and samples from the new 2018 Occasions Catalog can be shared.

This experience was way out of my comfort box.  It was an incredible amount of time and work on my part and Stampin’ Up’s, but after it was over I was so glad to have had the opportunity to share what I love to do anyway.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

Come get inky with me…be HaPpY!

  1. So thankful your friend taped your presentation! Thanks for sharing, Billie, as you are indeed an inspiration to this Georgia peach who lives in Buckeye/Wolverine country! Keep sharing your love of SU!!!

    • Thank you Angie…I was very lucky she filmed this for me. I hope to get something more professional from SU!…B!

    • You’re demonstration was great and you appeared to be at ease, joking with us in the audience. I love your designs and was glad I was there when you made your debut “On Stage” live.

Keep creating and thank you for sharing your design with all of us.

    • Oh you were there! Wasn’t the whole event just fun? It’s all about the people you get to see and girl time. I came home exhausted…did you?…B!

    • What an awesome experience. And believe me I felt the support from all the demos while on stage and afterwards everyone was so nice!…B!

  2. Hi Billie, I just watched your presentation for SU & you are a natural! Your sense of humor cracked me up. Your stamping is beautiful too! Was the stamp for the peacock feathers? Love your stamping!

    • I’m not sure about the natural part, but I had a talk with myself and knew no one wanted to see a nervous, jittery demonstration. Decided to just be myself and once the stamping started it was easy to relax and enjoy the experience! The stamp set will be released in the new Occasions Catalog in January…B!

  3. Congratulations, Billie!! So excited to see you as one of the “special people.” WE always knew you were terrific and those of us that can call you “our teacher” knew you had it in you this whole time. We are happy to see everyone else knows that now, too!

    • Hey Elaine…we missed you at book club last night! This was a great opportunity and experience. Scary for sure, but fun once it was done!…B!

    • Thank you Lindsay…this set will released in the January Occasions Catalog. Lots of gorgeous products coming!…B!

  4. So honored to be subscribed to a celebrity! I want your autograph!!!! Great Job! You sounded like a PRO to me! Is that a new Stamp Set that is coming out? Can’t wait if so!
    Take Care!

    • Oh stop it Cheryl…the whole experience was great once it was over! Yes it was a new stamp set that will be released in the January Occasions Catalog next month. Hold on to your handbag!…B!

    • I’ll be sharing those projects this week when SU! Lifts the ban. I think there are 10 projects with that one set! Did you know there’s a YouTube Channel where I post techniques? Just check under my name. Need to get busy and make more of those videos!…B!

  5. Hi Billie,
I was so excited when I saw you up on stage in SLC. What a way to make a great convention even better!!! I was hoping to get a chance to meet you, but maybe next time. I love following your posts and you’re B-ism’s never fail to inspire me, make me laugh or just make me think a little. Thanks for that!
    Debbie Dunn

    • Oh my goodness! I wish we had connected Debbie. I’m so glad you like the blog and especially the “B-ism”s. I have always enjoyed quotes and love to share them…with a little sass of course!…B!

  6. Congratulations, Billie, on your presentation! Wish I could’ve been there to see you in person. You did a fabulous job. I love your cards and your willingness to share what you love. Don’t ever be shy or apologetic about sharing accomplishments – you’ve certainly earned it!

    • Yes, I am. 11 years. I work full-time, so Stampin’ Up is more of a hobby with me, as I don’t have the time to devote to it as I’d like. Maybe in 6 or 7 years when I retire. I do hold a stamp camp with 4 ladies each month who’ve become good friends. At this time, it’s not a money maker for me, but that’s ok for now.

    • I say that all the time Phyllis…it’s about the people and the relationships. You do become good friends with your “peeps” as I call them. And other demos you only get to see infrequently but are your support system….B!

  7. Billie, what a wonderful job you did at OnStage! You were a tad nervous at first, but your sparkling personality shone through. Wish I had a chance to meet you in person. This was my first Live and first chance to meet my upline plus being with 2700 people at the event! The lady next to me commented on the bow on one of your finished cards and I got to tell her it’s a “Billie bow” and explain how you did it!

    • Oh Kathy I wish our paths had crossed too…maybe next time. Did you have a great time? It’s quite the overload of excitement and “eye candy” and most of us come home exhausted but happy. That’s so funny about the bow. I had no part in naming the bow or technique. I think that came first from someone in the UK but it has stuck. Thanks so much for stopping by today!…B!

  8. Great job! You are a natural. I have been following your blog for some time. Thank you so much for sharing your passion! AND your B-isms. 🙂

    • Thank you Mary Lee…it was an awesome and humbling experience all at the same time. I do love quotes so I’m glad you enjoy the “B-isms”!…B!

  9. These comments were a treasure to read. I feel beyond fortunate to have you as a mentor and friend. November 16 can’t come soon enough….looking forward to watching the On-Stage video. You have an incredible talent.

    • I have no idea what SU! Will show from OnStage. They may or may not show presenters. There were so many presentations and stamping segments done by corporate and I feel sure those will be the ones circulated. What did you think about the new stamp positioned?…B!
