Sally’s Birthday Surprise…

You just never know when and where you might meet someone you feel you’ve known your whole life…I mean like sisters from another mother.  That’s just what happened last August on the beach while on vacation.  Sweetums and I met Bill and Sally and we’ve been fast friends ever since.

Sally even decided to start stamping and joined my team…

To celebrate her birthday today I sent her this package just to let her know we were thinking of her…

All done in her favorite color combination and birthday cake with no calories.  The lanyard I know she will use with new snips and a little nosegay of roses she can pin to her blouse or jacket.

Here is a close up the of corsage of roses…

And the lanyard was packaged like florist might …

She’s already texted me and seemed really please with her surprise so I’m not ruining anything by posting this today.

The card included was posted on my blog and can be found under the “Birthday” button in the left column on this page.  The lanyard I purchased.

The birthday cake was made with the Cutie Pie Framelits and the roses with the Spiral Flower Die.  Her colors are Mint Macaron, Soft Sky and Pool Party.  The roses were hot glued to a scalloped circle of Mint Macaron and a jewelry pin hot glued to the back.  A little looped piece of Mint Macaron lace ribbon was tucked in one side for sweetness!

We plan to meet again at the beach this August…I bet this year we will be stamping at the beach too!

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

Happens to me every time…

Come get inky with me…Be HaPpY!

  1. Thanks for the great idea as I have a Bride to Be in my Stamp Club and will plan on having a similar set for her soon.

  2. How very sweet of you to make such a nice gift for Sally’s birthday. I love the card, the little box, the handy lanyard and the beautiful nosegay. What a nice surprise. Today’s “b-ism” really makes me feel old. I have to scroll and scroll to find my birth year!! lol It’s better than the alternative, right?

    • Thank you HJ…she is the newest member to my team and this is her favorite color combo. Moshe was surprised and seemed to really like it. It takes forever to get to my DOB but you are right…we are upright and that’s something!…B!
