Pieces That Were Left…

There have been at least three projects the past week using the Rose Wonder and Rose Garden Thinlets…so there were lots of pieces left on my table.  They were picked up and used to make today’s card that is also inspired by Rhonda Wade…

Soft, subtle and very feminine…

And, this card could be used for almost anything that isn’t masculine (birthday, wedding, anniversary, thank you, sympathy)  A really go card to have in your stash.

Here’s the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

Paper:  Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake Cardstock plus Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack (I’ve ordered to more stacks of this paper!)

Ink:  Basic Black

Stamps:  Rose Wonder

Tools ‘N Embellishments:  1/4″ Blushing Bride Ribbon, Basic Pearls, Rose Garden Thinlets

Digits

  • The Very Vanilla base card is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored and folded at 4 1/4″
  • The Crumb Cake layer is 5 1/4″ x 4″
  • The Love Blossoms DSP layers are 2″ x 4″.  Attach the center piece first with adhesive then add the two pink pieces at the top and bottom.  Add the ribbon at the top of this layer and attach with adhesive at back.
  • Cut the Very Vanilla rose and attach over the DSP layer and ribbon with the Thin Tip Glue.  Attach both layers to card front with adhesive.
  • Stamp frame in Basic Black on scrap of Very Vanilla and add sentiment.  Add three Basic Pearls to the front under sentiment and dimentionals on the back to attach at top right.

Now look at the inside (I don’t usually show the inside, but thought you might like to see)…

Do you stamp the backs of your cards before mailing?  Here’s one of my favorites…

Well, our storm went through all night long.  We were so flooded this morning in our little community they closed our road.  But this afternoon the sun is back out and its 60 degrees again!  Zoe and I will be able to enjoy our walk and maybe even play in some mud puddles…

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

  1. Another beautiful card, Billie. I love all the elements, especially this rose thinlet. I love being able to use my scraps. Glad your rain is gone and now it is here in Delaware melting our snow. I hope we don’t have flooding as you did. I have senior moments like your “b-ism” today!! Funny!

    • If I started today just using my scraps, I couldn’t live long enough to use them all…just sayin’…B!
