Here’s another project we made at our Rambling Rose Retreat earlier this month that would make a good under $10 gift…
This journal (retired SU!) measures a good 5″ x 8 1/2″ and has lined sheets inside. Since SU! no longer carries this items, I plan to scour the Dollar stores and maybe office supply stores for a substitute.
For this particular journal we started with a piece of 5 x 8 1/2″ wrapping paper that already had the white dots. We sponged the edges with Soft Suede to age the look and used the Awesomely Artistic stamp set with Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede and Mossy Meadow. The En Francis background (which is also retired and if you didn’t get it, I’m so sorry because its awesome) is also stamped in Soft Suede.
Some of the girls at retreat used this notebook for taking notes of the different techniques presented during the retreat.
Before the holidays I like to show as many gifts as I can that cost under $10 to make. We all have a list of those we would like to remember at Christmas but cannot find a gift worth giving with a $10 budget. If that applies to you, stay tuned for future gift ideas right here.
Hope you are planning a beautiful fall weekend…don’t forget to turn those clocks back!
Here’s your “B-ism” for today…
Yes! Even when you are retired, you still look forward to Friday for some unknown reason!
Get yourself inky and…Be HaPpY!
