Fall Magic With Painter’s Tape

Sometimes cards don’t take that much time and effort, but still turn out beautiful…I have to admit it doesn’t happen that often, but it does happen.  Today’s card is a case in point.

Here’s the card…

Do you love the backgkround? If there is a name to this technique, I haven’t heard it, but it is made with painter’s tape and an  ink pad. Tomorrow (hopefully) I will have a video up of how to do this technique and with other samples to show you. The colors used here are Summer Starfruit, Tangerine Tango and Cajun Craze. The burlap is 1 1/4″ shown on page 18 of the Holiday Catalog (#132140, $7.95) and the Natural Designer button is in the annual catalog, page 169 (127554, $4.95) as is the Linen Thread (I love this stuff) page 173 (#104199, $4.50). The stacked wheat is part of the Truly Grateful stamp set page 19 of the Holiday Catalog (131733, $19.95). I can’t believe how much I have used this set!

Tune in tomorrow for my first ever video and check out this really simply and neat technique!

Here’s your “B-ism” for today...”Don’t let yesterday use up too much of today.”

If your fingers aren’t inky, you’re not happy…
