Love you Valentine…

Here’s an idea for a little Valentine home décor you can bring out each year to celebrate Valentine.  I try to add something new to my stash of home décor items for each annual celebration every year and just pack them away in storage cartons until it comes along the next year.  It’s fun to have all these sweet handmade decorations to decorate my house.

Here’s my new décor item for Valentine’s…

You know this would make a great gift at a wedding shower or anniversary celebration.  Love is appropriate any time of the year…

There’s no real Stuff ‘N Digits for this. I used the paper stack from the Occasion Catalog Stacked With Love.  To keep a little conformity the backgrounds are all from the black and white side and the hearts from the reverse side of the paper.  All the big hearts are punched with the Heart Stamp and the little ones from the Heart Boarder.  Seriously, this project went together really fast.  I just kept finding little embellishments to place here and there to bling it up a bit (imagine that!)

Prior to being a “Love” framed piece, this frame was filled with Christmas paper and embellishments.  Since I pop them in with a single glue dot, they come out easily…so the frame can be used over and over.  I store each celebration’s cards in a wood stamp set box and file them for reuse.  Am I genius or what?  I’m pretty sure lots of others do this too…right?

Some of my stampin’ peeps from classes this month and I are swapping cards dedicated to spring flowers and birds.  So next time you see this frame…it will be spring!

Did you see SU!’s offer for free product from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog when you order a 3-month Paper Pumpkin at a $5 savings?  And, if you order a 12-month subscription you not only get a free product from the Sale-A-Bration catalog, but a $24 savings (that’s one month free).  Well….duh!  I’m spending that anyway so why not get the savings and free product?  We did get to see the February and March Paper Pumpkin kits at conference in Orlando.  While that does spoil the surprise for me, I can tell you they are absolutely awesome!

We are having some REALLY cold weather here again in the south…ugh!  I’m soooo ready for spring!

Here is your “B-ism” for today…

Get yourself inky…you WILL be HaPpY!

  1. I’m just seeing this and I love it. I participated in a swap and we all made a card for each participant. The final product was made up of cards from 12 people. I love this kind of art work on the walls. And to be able to change it out for each season would be great!

    • I have several changes for this frame and love putting it out for special occasions. Several of the girls who come to class have frames too, so we are now making a spring frame with birds and flowers and swapping cards. I’ll show you that one when its done next month. Thanks for writing…B
