Love in a Box…

Yesterday a roomful of stamping peeps were treated with these Valentine “love” boxes filled with sweet treats and given with lots of love…

Just a little something to let them know how much I appreciate their friendship and the opportunity to share with them this paper art, stamping obsession I have.

These 4″ x 4″ boxes with the clear slip on cover are the perfect size to fill with sweet treats packed in a cellophane bag, both items are offered in the annual Stampin’ Up! catalog.

The Designer Series Paper is the Sending Love Paper Stack on pg 15 of the new Occasions Catalog cut 2″ x 6″ (it takes two pieces to wrap the box).  The sweet treats were packages inside cello bags offered in the Annual Catalog.  Slip on the clear box cover and tie your bow on top.

Here I’ve used several different SU! Ribbons from my stash and added the tag made with the Scalloped and Stitched Circle Framelits Dies.

The Sentiment was stamped with the Sealed with Love Stamp Set on page 15 of the Occasions Catalog including the “kiss”. I used Real Red and Blushing Bride ink and tied it on with Linen Thread.

Today I am in Florida with “the Littles”.  Woke them up this morning (they were asleep when I arrived last night) to take them to school.  We made a deal for after school this afternoon.  They made promises of things they would do and I promised to take them for ice cream.  Mom moms are allowed to do that!

The weather here is amazing.  In fact I told the kids I was going swimmming today.

Hope you are having an awesome day…

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

  1. Those boxes are adorable. Some of my friends will definitely be receiving some of those next month. Thanks for sharing! Absolutely needed the B-ism yesterday.

    • I’m so glad you liked the Valentine boxes Karen…my stamping “Peeps” seemed to really enjoy them too. And the good part is they are relatively easy and quick to put together. Sometimes a quote just seems right for the day…B!
