Pretty Little Spring Banner…

Yesterday I showed you the framed spring art for my kitchen and today I’m showing you this pretty little spring banner for the fireplace.  Really you could put this anywhere…across a mirror, over a doorway, etc.

Here’s the banner…

So stinkin’ cute.  Wouldn’t this be just the berries in a babies room spelling out their name?  You could make it for the shower to decorate and then gift it to the mom-to-be.  Wedding shower?  Same thing…just use their first names.  Well, my mind runs like the Road Runner all the time so I’ll quit with the ideas and tell you how I made it.    Here’s the Stuff ‘N Digits…

  • Paper:  Whisper White, Crisp Cantaloupe, Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizazz cardstock
  • Ink:  Crisp Cantaloupe, Bashful Blue, Daffodil Delight and  Pear Pizazz
  • Embellishments:  All ribbon is seam binding tied with linen thread.  Backgrounds created by sponging stencils from banner kit, letters from February Paper Pumpkin,  leaves hand cut and embossed with dotted EF.  Crochet trim (retired, sigh!)
  • Tools:  Big Shot, Frames framelits (largest size), Dots EF, Spiral Flower Die, 1 3/4″ circle punch, 1 3/8″ circle punch, crop-a-dile for threading holes in top of tag.

Hope this post has given you ideas of your own and inspired you to create a masterpiece.  Always I am available with questions you may have.  Just drop me an email or comment and I’ll get right back to you.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…”Decide what to be and go be it!”

Inky hugs and happy stampin’…
