In classes last week some of my peeps were talking about table decorating for the fall and specifically Thanksgiving. Last year we made several different types of table décor, but these were my favorite. Any shape framelit and some pretty DSP and you too can make a lil’ pumpkin patch of your own…
Aren’t they cute? Just pick a framelit shape or punch and grab your favorite DSP. Punch out 12 shapes, score in the center run hot glue along the edge of the center fold and place the next shape to the first. When all 12 are glued together, you have your pumpkin! Now I rolled some Chocolate Chip cardstock for the stems and added the leaf and some Linen Thread (of course!).
Wouldn’t these make cute place cards for the table and a little gift to take home.
Today has been a busy day in the studio since early this morning and it’s now 4:30! So many different projects in progress. Got a video done on the “thumping” technique and couldn’t get YouTube to upload it. So frustrating…maybe tomorrow so be sure to come back by if you’re interested in this technique.
Here’s your “B-ism” for today…”A good friend is like a four leaf clover, hard to find and lucky to have!”
Hope your are inky…and HaPpY!
