Leadership Roomie Gifts…

My two roomies at Leadership 2015 are both coming in from Arizona and I’ve have arrived first.  We have been talking about this week for months.  Almost since the national convention last July in Salt Lake City.

I can show you today before they get here what I have made for them as a gift (they won’t see this post til later)…

The flower is a pin and inside is…

A set of monogrammed notecards.  I posted the directions on these notecards earlier this week.  I’ll answer the one question everybody asked…that is not burlap ribbon behind the monogram, but drywall tape from the hardware store painted with a Blendability Pen.  It’s sticky on the back and makes a great background piece!

Sure hope they like their gifts.  They should be here soon and we’ll be off and running for three glorious WARM days in Orlando.  Be sure and check back to see all the fun.

Would you like to be here?  Well…you could.  There is always room for you on my team!

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

  1. Hi Billie,

I think I saw you at Leadership! Oh well, I wasn’t sure it was you so I did not say anything. Anyway, I love your projects! This is a beauty. You mentioned you posted the directions for the notecards earlier in the week, but I could not find them. Would you mind telling me where they are? I would love to CASE you.

    • Cathy…I cannot believe you saw me and didn’t stop me to say hello! Really? I am going to do a short video on the rose, but it is made with the heart punch and hot glue. The centers are from the new Build A Bouquet die…I put three inside the flower. Punch a whole sheet of cardstock with the heart punch. Use your bone folder to curl each side of the heart. Put a glob (is that a word?) of hot glue on your silicone sheet and hold three hearts together until they stand up alone. Add hot glue to the silicone sheet around the edges of these three standing hearts, Add curled hearts off center around and around until you get the size flower you want. Punch a scalloped circle in the same color and hot glue to bottom of flower. Add a jewelry pin with hot glue to back. Hope that makes sense. Look for the video. You could probably find the notes under thank you. I’ll check. If it’s different, I’ll let you know…B
