Last Class Project…

Here’s the final project made in last weekend’s classes and it was a favorite.  I found similar cards all over Pinterest and tweaked this one a little with some extra texture and ribbon.  It was a hit at classes.

and here is the inside…Notice we always make coordinating envelopes to our cards.

and the inside is also a repeat of the card front design.  I heard lots of chatter during class how each person had an idea to make this card a little differently.  Isn’t that what it’s all about…inspiring people to make their own creations?  I love it!

Here are the supplies we used for this project…

  • Stamp:  Be Very Merry, #132815, $6.95 We inked half the stamp for the front and the other half for the inside.
  • Paper:  Smokey Slate Cardstock, Winter Frost Specialty DSP, Whisper White Cardstock
  • Ink:  Island Indigo
  • Tools:  Frosted Flurry Framelits, Banner from Circle Thinlit Set, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
  • Embellishments:  Rhinestones, Silver 1/8″ Ribbon

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…”Be positive, patient and persistent.”

These three “P’s” are definitely handy when getting your fingers inky!
