Here’s once of the note cards included in my hostess “Thank You” card set. Oh! how I wish the sentiment were true. We are experiencing icing and expecting snow again tonight and tomorrow. I’m so over winter…how about you?
Here’s the card…
Love these note cards…the quality of the paper is fabulous. Feels expensive but this set makes 20 cards and only costs $12.95 (#133362)!
The Cantaloupe Crisp layer was cut with the Deco Labels Framelit as is the watercolor paper. The watercolor paper was spritzed with water to dampen, the stamp from Springtime Hello (#133415, $10.95, pg 21) was inked with Cantaloupe Crisp, Calypso Coral and Gumball Green markers and stamped on the damp watercolor paper allowing to bleed. Once the watercolor paper is dry (you know I used my heat gun here!) I re-inked and re-stamped the flower over the first blended stamp. Love this effect! You’ve got to try it if you never have. The sentiment (included in the stamp set) was stamped in black. I lifted the watercolor paper with dimensionals. You can see I also stamped the envelope to match and lined the envelope, too. It’s a gift and I wanted it to be really nice for her.
Click back by tomorrow for more gift set samples.
Here’s your “B-ism” for today: “A simple hello could lead to a million things.” (You know, like leave a message…I’d love to hear from some of you!)
Inky fingers mean a happy heart…
