Hello Fish…

Today I am whining…I mean a week of 100 degree weather is just obnoxious.  When it’s cold you can always put on more clothes.  But how much can you shed in this heat without being arrested for indecency?  Forecast reads at least four more days of this heat…

The bright side is more time creating in my studio and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.

Here’s today’s card…

hellofish1

and a peek inside…

hellofish

And you can see the envelope coordinates with the card…

Here’s the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

  • Paper:  3-1/2″ x 5″ Whisper White Notecard, Dapper Denim and Thick Whisper White Cardstock
  • Ink:  Dapper Denim, Basic Black, Mint Macaron and Calypso Coral
  • Stamps:  Seaside Shore, Watercolor Wishes (sentiment)
  • Tools ‘N Embellishments:  The bubbles were made with my hot glue gun

Digits

  • The Dapper Denim layer is 3″ x 4-1/2″ attached to notecard with adhesive
  • The top Thick Whisper White layer is 2-3/4″ x 4-1/2″.  Stamp the fish in Dapper Denim on the card front and on a post it note.  Cut out image from post it note cutting just inside the outline and cover stamped image on card.  Stamp seaweed in Calypso Coral twice over the fish post it note.  Remove mask…magic!  Stamp sentiment in Basic Black.
  • Inside the card repeat the masking technique making the fish Mint Macaron.  Tip:  Save you mask inside the stamp box for later use.
  • Repeat the same technique on the envelope to coordinate with the card front.
  • Using your hot glue gun, drop small amounts on your silicone mat and let dry.  Try to make them a little smaller each time.  Tip:  You can trim the dots after dry with scissors.  Attach dots to card front to look like bubbles blown by the fish.

After yesterdays fish card this one seems every so simple.  Sometimes simple is best.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

This is exactly what happens if you go outside…
