Gifting a New Friend…

I met Sue on the internet.  That sounds a little intriguing and scary.  You see I had been looking for over a year for a blog designer because I knew that would help me share what I love but I also knew it was way over my head to do on my own.  Sue was recommended by someone whose blog I had started following,  I loved the look and layout…so I asked…  Who designed your blog?  That’s how we met and that was last summer.

By September through countless hours on her part and mine my blog was born…and it did feel like a birth!  Since then Sue has been available to help when I messed up or didn’t understand to get my blog to do what I wanted.  We’ve developed a friendship even though we have never met.

Tomorrow in Tucson we will meet and spend the weekend together at the Tucson Demonstrator Retreat…you see, Sue is also a SU! demonstrator.  I am so excited to spend “REAL” time with her at this retreat and just having a good time.  In celebration of that meeting and all the work behind us, I have made this little gift for her that I know she will appreciate because she’s a demo, too.

Here’s her gift…

and what’s inside…

I hope she likes it.  I’m posting this to run on Saturday when I know she will already have her gift and to not spoil the surprise.  Inside are six cards and matching envelopes with three different sentiments and subtle differences on the fronts.  It was made with her in mind and many thank yous for all her efforts to make my blog look and work as well as it does.  Thank you Sue Parker!

Just know while you are reading this if you are a blog follower or someone who comes to my monthly classes, I will come home with tons of ideas and energy to share with you.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…”If you want to fly, harness your power to your passion.”

I’m probably not inky…but definitely happy right now!

    • I only have one project ready for April’s class and it’s gorgeous. I wanted to wait to see what I learned out here before planning the other two…B

  2. This was the nicest post and made me cry! Billie and I met for the first time this afternoon and it was as if we had known each other forever! We haven’t stopped talking! The gift is more beautiful in person so be sure to sign up for Billie’s class!
