Frost on the Pumpkin…

We are having changes in our weather here in the south and I know it won’t be long before there will be frost on the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch.  Here are the last three pages to my little desk calendar that I started almost a year ago with my g’daughter.  We had so much fun working on them that this year I have one for each of the girls who will be at my house for Thanksgiving.  Hoping to have kits pretty much set up for each one so we can all finish a 2015 calendar together.

This is especially important this year since my daughter and son-in-love will be leaving next year for middle Europe for three years,  The calendar I think will give us a sweet memory of the day we created it together.

Here are the last three months…

Definitely some frost on these pumpkins.  Using the masking technique (my favorite) with the Lovely as A Tree and Fall Fest stamp sets.

Yes, in November all our trees are usually bare just like this.  I’ve used the White Christmas stamp set for this one.

The Ornamental Pine stamp set finished off the year in style.  I love this set.  A little frost here and a retired embossing folder adds some snow.

So now the challenge is to make four calendar kits between now and Thanksgiving so we will all have our own desk calendar and maybe have started a new family tradition.

Here is your “B-ism” for today…”Enjoy the journey”.

I’m sure inky…and very HaPpY!

  1. Billie,
Love your little desk calendar idea. What did you use for the monthly calendars? I’d love to do something like this with my groups! Your samples and tutorials are Wonderful! Thanks so much for posting all of them on Stampin’ Connection!! (Love your puppies too! I have two kitties who are covered in Dazzling Diamonds and Dimensionals too!) Thanks for sharing! • Hey Carol…how nice you have commented and we have so much in common. I bought the blank calendars from Paper Source ( They are printed on a really nice water color paper and come with a little Lucite stand. I am working on a video on how to make the pine cones. I have been overwhelmed with response today. Thanks so much for writing…B
