Just the card when you need a birthday, sympathy, get well or thinking of you…and the colors taken directly from the Watercolor Wonder DSP make it simple to put together. This card was inspired by one I saw on Diana Gibbs’ blog at Stamping With Di (thanks, Diana!) Here’s the card…
There are several features on this card using new products from the Celebrate the Everyday catalog that may be new to you. The basic card is Whisper White with a Bashful Blue layer embossed with the Fancy Fan EF (embossing folder). The smaller layer across the lower front is Whisper White cut with the tiny scallop rotary wheel on the SU! paper trimmer. I love how dainty it is. The layer over this one is from the Watercolor Wonder DSP. I think I’ve mentioned every side of this paper is so pretty and it all coordinates. I cut the doily in half and placed behind the tag to set it up as the focal point of the card. The tag was made with the new Tag Topper Punch and I repeated the tiny scallops on the tag. The stamp set is from the Happy Watercolor set and I used a blender pen to add color to the orchids.
This will be a busy weekend with two classes booked full and I’m hosting our neighborhood book club Monday evening. Still lots to finish up but I always find time to get in my studio to create.
Hope you enjoyed this card and this post will inspire you to create your own masterpiece. Thanks for stopping by to visit.
Here’s your “B-ism” for today: Be the reason someone smiles today.”
Do you think this ink on my fingers is eatable?
