Explanation, Apology and a Gift…

When I started this blog back in September, my goal was to deliver the gift of inspiration daily…a lofty goal to be sure.  I also wanted to get to know my readers and in turn open myself up for you to know me too.

During the last six weeks my younger sister whom I have cared for over the last six and a half years became gravely ill.  She died the Sunday night before Thanksgiving.  Since then I’ve moved in a fog and tried to function daily as best I could.  Until today I’m sure I could not have put two meaningful words together much less create and share.  But I find it’s also necessary for me to create to be me.  Does that make sense to you my fellow bloggers who also create?

So create I did…

Here is the little frame I bought back in the fall and made this.

Do you remember this post?  Here is my inspiration gift to you today…

Too bad all the sparkly doesn’t show up in the trees and snow.  It’s really pretty in person. I’m happy with it and feel this can stay up at least until Valentines maybe.  Got my inspiration from Ann Schach at The Stampin’ Schach.

Hope to be back tomorrow with another gift of inspiration.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…”Be patient, Be kind.”

Looking forward to getting my fingers inky…

  1. Dear Billie, my absolutely sincerest condolences. How very tragic for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless you and comfort you during this difficult time.

  2. My condolences to you. I know this is a hard time, but God will take care of you and your sister. You have a wonderful talent and I thank you for sharing.
