Christmastime Luminary…

This is one of my favorite projects ever…and I  hope you like it as much.  This idea came to me from Monika Moritz.  Originally I made one very similar to hers and then branched out to the one I’m showing you today.

Here’s a pic for you…

This is the one made from Monika’s post.  Isn’t it the cutest?  Thank you Monika for sharing your creation.  And here is the one I came up with…

I’m thinking you might want to give this a try so I made a video for you and here are the Stuff ‘N Digits for you too…

For the Sky Blue one cut your cardstock 8 1/2″ x 7″.

Score on the long side at 2″, 4″, 6″ and 8″

Turn and score on the shorter side at 2″

Now go to the video and watch just how fast this little cutie goes together.  If you want a bigger luminary, cut the sides 2 1/2″ wide.  Your base piece would measure 10 1/2″ x 7″.  Score at 2 1/2″, 5″, 7 1/2″ and 10″.  Turn and score at 2 1/2″.

I’m thinking my “Littles” would like this beside their bed on Christmas Eve.

I’m so glad you stopped by today.  Do you feel inspired to give this one a try?  There are just so many ways these luminaries could be used…wedding, showers, table décor…(you get the jest).

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

Oh my word!  My finger will never be a normal color and my make up is all glittered!

But, I’m inky…and HaPpY!
