Birthday Delivery…

Can you stand one more birthday card with these cute forest animals?  It’s hard to put this suite of products away.  Ideas keep coming to mind and need to be made!

Here’s today’s post…

Lots of “fussy cutting” here…

Glamour shot close up…

and a side view showing dimension of gift box and balloons…

and a peek inside (this would make a good card front too!)

Here’s the Stuff ‘N Digits for you…

Stuff

  • Paper:  Real Red and Thick Whisper White Cardstock, plus Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper
  • Ink:  Real Red, Soft Sky and Journaling Pen
  • Stamps:  Birthday Delivery
  • Tools ‘N Embellishments:  Birthday Friends Framelits, Balloons Honeycomb Embellishments, Sponge

Digits

  • The Real Red base card is 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored, folded and burnished at 4-1/4″
  • The top Thick Whisper White layer is 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″.  Cut the bottom layer “grass” from DSP and attach to Whisper White layer with SNAIL.  Using a sponge add Soft Sky ink to top of Whisper White layer.  Add to card front with SNAIL.
  • Cut the fox from the DSP with framelit.  Cut his hat from DSP with framelit.  Cut gift box from DSP with framelit.  Fussy cut bear with baby bear and raccoon from DSP.  Add bear first in center of card front with multipurpose glue.  Add fox next overlapping his tail on bear.  Add raccoon last overlapping his trumpet.  Add balloons in top right corner and add strings with journaling pen to the baby bear’s paw.  How sweet is that?
  • Now inside the card I cut out a turtle and a squirrel.  The Whisper White layer is 4″ x 5-1/4″ attached with SNAIL.  Cut grass from DSP and add to bottom of layer with SNAIL.  Stamp Happy Birthday sentiment in Real Red.  Add to card with SNAIL.
  • You can see an extra gift box was cut out to attach to the lower left corner of the envelope to coordinate with the card front.

Next week I’m moving on to other new products.  But, believe me, this suite of products is so much fun to play with.

Hope your weekend will be everything you want it to be and more.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today…

i’m smiling…

Come get inky with me…you’ll be HaPpY!

  1. So, so cute, Billie. I can tell this is going to be a favorite of yours. The colors are so pretty, the facial look happy and excited and the scenes are totally adorable. You do a wonderful job everyday and continue to entertain and teach me new things all the time with your creative talents. You know I’m one of your biggest fans. Ok, I’ll get off my soap box, but I do love the things you show us.

As for the “b-ism” today, it fits you to a T. Enjoy your weekend.

    • Hahaha! Yes you are definitely my biggest fan HJ…I so look forward to your comments each day and worry when you aren’t here! I promise tomorrow’s post is not with the Birthday Delivery gang!…B!

    • You’re so sweet. Please don’t worry when I don’t comment. My life has been overabundantly (is that a word?) full these past few weeks with fun things of my choosing and I occasionally have missed your posts. I look forward to seeing them each day. I think May’s schedule will be less full and allow me more time to browse the blogs I love. I anxiously await tomorrow’s post to see what new creation you have for us. Take care. I’m glad the weekend is here. Have a great one.

    • How nice your April was filled with all fun things! I know it is a really busy time of the year. Enjoy!…B!

    • I know you will absolutely love this set Nancy. Just a little over a week and you can order it!…B!

  2. Billie-

I love this set and cannot wait to own it. I own a standard poodle so obviously, the poodle caught my eye with the new products. This card is very sweet. My wants for the new catalog are growing…
