My goodness this weather is enough to drive you batty…and for me that’s going to be a short trip! Made the trek to yoga this cold morning and when I went in everything was fine…when I came out…well, look at this.
Anyway…yesterday was a productive day in the old Rambling Rose Studio and I have several Valentine home décor projects to share. Thought I’d start at the front door with these…
Are you feeling the love? The wreaths are left over from Christmas (Target) and I added the “Love Banners” using the new Scallop Tag Topper Punch and the burlap that comes with the Spring Flower Wreath Kit. Its only stuck on the wreath with florists pins, so it should be easy to take off and use again next year.
These tags were pretty quick to make once I came up with the idea. Cut the Cherry Cobbler cardstock 2″ x 4″ and punched it with the tag topper at the top and bottom. The Pretty in Pink cardstock was cut 1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″, stamped with the En Francis background stamp in black. Now I know the Alphabet Die is retired (so sorry : ( ) but that is what I used to cut out the LOVE in cardboard and then the Gold and Silver Glitter. Once the tags were all together, I hot glued them to the burlap ribbon that is in the Celebrate the Everyday Catalog on pg. 37.
Hope this post will inspire you to show a little love in your house, too.
Here is your “B-ism” for today: “If you chase two rabbits, you won’t catch one.”
You don’t even want to know how inky I am today…
