A Little Love…

Today’s card is so sweet and direct.  It was fun to make and simple, too.  It was inspired by Francis Martin (thanks!)

Here’s the card…

loveyouThe designer series paper Fresh Prints was cut into varying size strips (I had scraps laying around from other projects) and glued to a 3 1/4″ x 3″ piece of white cardstock.  That piece was placed on top of a 3 5/8″ x 3 1/8″ silver foil layer.  Then these two layers were cut with a heart framlit just off the edge.  To a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ card based I added a white cardstock layer 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″.  Before placing the dsp layer I stamped the sentiment in versamark and covered with pewter embossing powder and heated.  The dsp layer is on dimensionals.  I didn’t take a picture of the inside, but I have a small white piece of cardstock over a silver foil piece and then placed the heart I cut out from the front inside.  Lining the envelope with the same Fresh Prints dsp finishes the card perfectly.  Lovin’ it!

Hope you are inspired to make your valentines and let those you love know you remembered them.

Here’s your “B-ism” for today:  “Today…put on your AWESOME pants!”

I wish inky fingernails were in style…
