A Family of Pumpkins…

Just had to share this cute little family of pumpkins. They would be so creative as place cards on your Thanksgiving holiday table, or on the mantle or a side table.

We made theses in classes this month and everyone seemed to really like them. Here we used the Labels Collection Die (the three smallest) and made a cute little “pumpkin family”. You should plan to use one sheet of the DSP of your choice for each one. Probably would take two sheets of DSP for the larger sized dies in the collection. Cut 12 pieces of each shape, fold the side you want to “see” to the INSIDE. These were done with a thin line of hot glue next to the center edge til you have all 12 glued together to form a circle.

The stem is a rolled piece of card stock hot glued inside along with the leaf. You could also add a curled piece of card stock along with the leafl for a little different texture.

I think different shapes of dies would be fun, too. And, maybe throw in some solid card stock ones just for fun.

Hope you are finding ways of being creative and that this site inspires you to try something new. Thanks for stopping by.
