Here in the South we are still enjoying warm weather (but no humidity) and haven’t even had a cool enough night to begin to turn the leaves. That doesn’t mean we can’t create some fall with the Sweater Weather DSP and the sunburst technique though.
After cutting the 2 x 6 inch strips of the DSP, and then cutting each strip diagonally from top corner to opposite bottom corner, I began by placing one piece in the center and working out. After stamping the sentiment, I ran the front piece through the Big Shot inside the Square Lattice embossing folder to achieve the “quilted” look.
A little Pumpkin Pie ribbon, a little punch action and fussy cutting the acorn and I’m happy with the result.
Seriously, I can’t get enough of this DSP…I think I’ll get another pack and made one of those curly wreaths.
Here’s my “B-ism” for today: “Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey has been.”
